Carroll's Guidance Office works together as a team for the good of each student, serving the student's academic, emotional, and college preparatory needs. The Guidance Office is a place where students will always find encouragement and support.
Counselors serve students to help them develop academic excellence, self-confidence, and strong minds. Counselors provide the following services:
- Counselor/student contact through individual, small , and large group conferences
- Parental contact throughout the school year to help their children develop academically, socially, and emotionally
- Parent/teacher conferences as requested
- Monitor student progress to foster improvement
Our Guidance Team now includes a full-time College Advisor. Carroll provides college planning assistance to students from 9-12th grade levels and their parents. This program includes National College Fairs, Parent Information Nights, a visit from the Florida Department of Education to discuss scholarships, College visits to Carroll, Career Exploration Series, and more. Carroll also offers workshops on college essay writing and college applications.
